Q: How long have you been a photographer?

A: I've been a photographer for over 25 years. "Lani Kai Photography" was established in 2010.

Q: What is your style of wedding photography?

A: I am a journalist, telling the story of your day. I'm unobtrusive, a fly on the wall. I use creative composition such as camera tilt and extreme close up to insure the emotion and passion of your day are captured.

Q: What equipment do you use?

A: I shoot with professional Nikon cameras and lenses. I always bring adequate lighting equipment to handle any lighting situation.

Q: Do you have a payment plan available?

A: Yes. I will set up a payment plan based on your budget.

Q:  What's unique about your style?

A: I am known for my ability to capture powerful emotional candid moments my clients don't realize I've gotten until they receive their pictures.  

Q: Are all the pictures on your site yours? Do you use any stock images?

A: The images on my site and in any advertisement are 100% mine. I use no stock images or photos from other photographers.

Q: Do you shoot anything besides weddings?

A: Yes, real estate & boudoir photography are also passions of mine. 

Q: How much post-processing do you include?

A: I post-process every photo I deliver. My style is to keep your photos looking very natural and beautiful with moderate, natural and neutral touch up work. 

Q: Will you travel and do you have a passport?

A: Yes and yes.

Q: What's the average amount of pictures I can expect to receive?

A: The average number of photos I deliver is between 300-900 depending on the length of the wedding

Q: Do you carry any liability insurance?

A: Yes, I am fully covered through State Farm.
